Email Advertising:

Reverse marketing/Permission Emails:

Again, this was designed for a specific business, but the basic info is there and the letters can be adapted to whatever bizopp you are promoting, following the principles presented.

The first way is to look for people that have printed their email address into their advertisement, any advertisement anywhere. If they put their email address IN their ad, you can email them.

Another way to promote your opp is by simply replying to all of the email ads you receive on a daily basis. These people are great prospects because they are already sending ads out so we know they are active marketers and someone you want to get on YOUR team.

So think about hitting "reply" instead of "delete" (or before "delete") and sending something like this back to them:


(This was developed for an advertising opportunity called TOAN, which is a great advertising company, but it isn't free so I will cover it farther down under the PAID ADVERTISING section. Again, you'll have to edit and adapt to suit whatever your opp is, but it will give you an idea of how Permission emails work. The main thing to remember is to NEVER send your url in the first email. You must get PERMISSION from them to send you your actual url before you send it!)

As I have been doing permissions emails since over a year now, I have seen all of them. So I always have an answer for them here are some examples:
 
1- Thanks for your offer however I am looking for a residual income, with your opportunities, if I stop clicking...I stop earning. With the Berry Tree you do not have to work and it is guaranteed that you will earn money!

Hope this will help you. I try to adjust the answer depending on the opportunity. When I received a spam, I always answer with my second email beginning with number 2 above.

 



SPAM Dos and DON'Ts - VERY IMPORTANT

If you are going to do permission emails or any email advertising, you must understand the rules of spam. Below are three articles I found that provide info. But basically, you must always ask permission (this is the advantage of having an account at aweber or getresponse, they SUBSCRIBE to your newsletter and so they have granted you permission to email them.)

And you must always provide an OPT-OUT. Something like this at the bottom of your email: If you no longer wish to receive Emails from me you can “OPT Out” by emailing me at  oneofyourvalidemailaddress@bfd.com With a subject line “Please Remove Me From Your List”.

Online Classified Ads:

Classified advertising on the whole is free. There are some paid versions but generally you can place an ad for no cost. This has the obvious advantage that any sales it produces gives a 100% profit without the need to cover any expenses. For this reason it is a "must do" for your advertising. Giving Away Free Reports:

This is an approach I have never used myself, but I know many do use it very effectively. A program I am in sent this out, so it is adapted to that program. Again, just adapt it to your own! (Thanks to Wayne Merritt from ATU.)


How to create a FREE REPORT to send to people that is not threatening and will still advertise your  links.

Many network marketers have a large array of reports they use, to build mailing lists and bring in prospects to their own business. This is what this method will help you do.

Building a LIST through Free Reports is a "Secret" that is not revealed to the normal internet marketer, but I am exposing it today for each and every one of you.

Heres how its done:

Step 1:
Get ready and open up a word processor on your computer - I actually use wordpad from microsoft. You need to consider what you want your report will be about. Internet Marketing, Working at home, Team building, New Concepts for online marketers etc.. Once you have the concept, you need to pick a Name for your report. Examples would be: Team Building The Easy Way, Building your business one day at a time, Teamwork Works, etc...


Step 2:
Next, grab some graphics (this is not mandatory, but will help) and put one at the top of your word processor. The Graphic should be something that pertains to  your reports name. Then Make a BIG HEADER under that graphic, BOLD, COLOR IT, Make it very catchy. Also on each paragraph, you should center a heading, that is bold and colorful and stands out.


Step 3:
Start typing away, and start off with a bang if you can, to catch attention. You don't have to write a novel here, just something to make the viewer want to finish reading your report. ie:  Imagine Earning 100's of dollars everyday by helping others!  etc.
You get the idea!


Step 4:
Go to
www.about.com  and search for articles pertaining to your report. When you find a few of them, copy and paste them into your word processor. Make sure you use the person's name, email, phone, website (if they have all those) in the report. YOU WANT TO GIVE THEM CREDIT. 99 out of 100 times, they will be fine with this. If you feel this is pushing the legal limit, send them an email, requesting to use their article in your report. Tell them you will give them all the credit, and it's free advertising for them. You should have no problems!

Step 5.
As you are writing your report, ensure you include your Affiliate Links where appropriate.


Step 6.
Add the articles from about.com into the report in logical areas. Once done with your report, you should have about 8 to 10 pages.


Step 7.
Very Important: At the end of your report, make it look professional by using your name as the author, with your affiliate link(s) underneath your name. Then add a small autobiography at the very end.  Example:

Step 8.
Save your report to your computer. Go to
http://www.primopdf.com/ and download the free PDF Creator. You are now going to turn your Word doc into a professional ADOBE PDF report.

Step 9.
After download, you will notice the software loads to the PRINTER SECTION of your computer. Once you have checked grammar and spelling on your report, click PRINT in WORDPAD. Then choose the PDF CREATOR. A small ad will appear (it's free software) and then PRIMO PDF will create a NICE ADOBE PDF File for you. This will also add more pages to the report, as ADOBE FONTS are bigger.


Step 10.
Save_as the report to your computer. I usually save it to my desktop. Then Click on the PDF File, and presto, you have a nice Adobe Pdf FREE REPORT that you created right on your computer. Complete with graphics (if you did that), links, and all the nice features Adobe adds for you.


Step 11.
Double check the report in Adobe again and again, make sure it looks nice, double check the spelling is right, that the grammar makes sense. Show it to your spouse, brother, sister, co worker, friend and have them review it for you. If you make any changes, save it and just go back to PRINT and choose PDF again, and re-save it over your previous file.


Step 12.
Once you're HAPPY with your report, start to advertise a "FREE REPORT" to the masses online. You can do this numerous ways. In an email you can advertise a free report and they can respond back to you for the report. Or on a website you can upload the free PDF Report to your server, and people can just click the link you created on your website,  and they can download it without any interaction by you.


Step 13.
Once people respond for your FREE REPORT, always keep their email address for your list. You can now email them every few weeks or so, to try and make a relationship with them. ALWAYS PLACE OPT OUT INFO after your name to stay CAN-SPAM compliant, and if they opt out of future emails from you, make sure you delete them!


Thats it! This should help you advertise your links, in a non-threatening manner, and help your build a list as well.



Safelists:


By far the best form of free advertising you can do. 
I personally got my best results from these when I started marketing online. It involves a LOT of emails so you may want to start with the smaller lists first to get the hang of it and move forward from there as your time and experience allow.


Definition: Safelists are groups of marketers who join for the purpose of sending their ads to other members in the group. You must subscribe to the list and all of the members then agree to send and receive emails from one another.

Effectiveness: Besides your own warm list, safelists are the most effective and the most affordable ( most are free ) online promotion method.

How to use one:

First, you will need to setup 2 email address:

* Your contact Email to receive important messages and/or your login info from the safelist's administration.

* Your List Email which is where other members in the safelists will send you their ads. ( I strongly recommend that you do not use your main email account for this, it is a lot of mail. )

Here is a good placed that you can sign up for your free web based email account to use as your list Email:

Next, you'll need to start subscribing to as many safelists as you can. You may want to just join ONE at first though, to see how it works and to get the hang of it.

The key to safelist marketing:

Please understand that you cannot expect results from posting for once in  awhile. The key to success in safelist marketing is by posting often and also responding appropriately to emails that interest you.

Here's a hot tip! Join any free programs that are being offered consistently by the same marketer. You join their team and develop a relationship with them. It costs you nothing and you now have a valuable contact the next time you have something you are recruiting for. This is how you start building your warm list of recruiters.

Devote yourself 2 - 3 hours a day to posting your ads and reading and answering emails. With the right headline/content, you'll start seeing results for your efforts.
